I live in Virginia and I tried to make a river cane turkey call with no success. Evidently our river canes don’t grow big enough to make a decent one. This surprised and surpassed my expectations. It does have a learning curve to get the sound right but no one should have any trouble finding their correct mouth/lip placement to get good yelps, cuts, and putts from it.
